Slip-on Flange

Slip-on flanges have a lower hub because the pipe is inserted into the bore of the flange before welding.

Pipes are welded inside and outside the bore of the flange to ensure sufficient strength and prevent leakage. The bore of all slip-on flanges is slightly larger than the outer diameter of the pipe they are connected.
