EN 10219 Square Steel Pipe For Construction
EN 10219 square tube is welded from strip steel or plate after crimping, it is widely used in steel structure plant, warehouse, bridge building, intelligent greenhouse, civil construction and other fields.
The EN 10219 specification is segregated into two parts. While part 1 covers the Technical delivery conditions of the en 10219 pipe. Part 2 covers its dimensions, tolerances, as well as its sectional properties. Cold formed welded structures produced under this standard are available in shapes like square, circular, or rectangular forms.
The hollow sectioned en 10219 square tube typically does not require subsequent heat treatment. Grade s235jr steel pipe designated with the letters JR indicate the qualities with specified impact properties at room temperature or its specified impact properties at a temperature of 0℃. Whereas the numeric value in the term EN 10219 S235JR is indicative of its minimum yield strength, which in this case stands at about 235 N/mm2.
